A Livery yard in Yorkshire has saved a fortune this winter by using free water from an OASIS rainwater harvesting system.
The owner, Ann, said "It has made such a difference. The horses much prefer the rainwater to tap water and I have found that 'fussy' drinkers even accept water from a bucket in the lorry after hunting, which they never did before."
Ann added "We have never run out of water all winter and have had more than we could use. Each stable roof seems to provide enough rainwater for the horse inside. We also find that we need hardly any shampoo for the tails as the water is so soft."
